Pelicans vs. Nuggets Injury Report: Williamson Upgraded, Ingram Cleared
Four Pelicans Ruled Out for Denver Clash
New Orleans Pelicans Injury Report
The New Orleans Pelicans will be without four key players when they take on the Denver Nuggets on Friday night at the Smoothie King Center. Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram, CJ McCollum, and Larry Nance Jr. have all been ruled out due to injuries.
Zion Williamson Upgrade
Despite the Pelicans' lengthy injury list, there was some positive news on Friday morning as Zion Williamson was upgraded to questionable for the game against the Nuggets. Williamson has been out since January 2 with a hamstring injury, but he participated in practice on Thursday and could make his return on Friday night.
Brandon Ingram Cleared
Brandon Ingram has been cleared to play after missing the Pelicans' last two games with a toe injury. Ingram is averaging 20.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 4.7 assists per game this season. His return will provide a much-needed boost to the Pelicans' offense.
Other Pelicans Injuries
CJ McCollum is still out with a foot injury, and Larry Nance Jr. is still recovering from a sprained MCL. Both players are expected to miss multiple weeks.
Nuggets Injury Report
The Denver Nuggets have no major injuries to report at this time.
